Springtime at the Frick

I am in such a better mood, as are most of us in the northeast, now that Spring has arrived! One of my favorite Spring pastimes when I lived in the Upper East Side was to stroll over to Central Park and into one of the latest exhibitions on Museum Mile. I love that I can still do that on a smaller scale: walk down Reynolds Street to Frick Park and the Frick museum, which is a wonderful art institution and has a worthwhile exhibition coming up.

I am very excited for the PAN exhibition, opening next week with a kickoff party on May 20th and on display through September. It is a collection of European avant garde pieces created during the art nouveau period and includes all mediums. I love this bold, eclectic style that still resonates and influences modern design today.

  1. Great post...love the Frick...and for real men, a permanent automobile collection where you can get close to the cars and carriages...excellent.
