Give Back

On October 13th, open your heart, wallet and web browser for the Pittsburgh Foundation's annual Day of Giving, benefitting over 400 local non-profits.

The rules and web support for the initiative have changed to accommodate the overwhelming participation last year. A prorated amount of the reserved $500,000 contribution from the Pittsburgh Foundation will be allocated based on donations to participating organizations.

Apparently Pittsburgh was ranked the most charity conscious city in the US, meaning we are most generous per capita. I sense a strong correlation with our most livable ranking. The non-profits are what make this city so culturally vibrant, and that is something I'm willing to support.
